Andrea is an educator and community servant based in New Orleans. Over her 14 year stint as a classroom teacher, she taught in high schools in Colorado, Boston, and Philadelphia, before landing in New Orleans. As a curriculum designer, she has worked with nonprofits, EV tech companies, and schools nationwide to craft engaging curricula. When she is not designing curriculum, she is working with an Atlanta-based art studio and nonprofit where she leads a cohort of HBCU art students through a multidisciplinary fellowship experience.
Andrea is a proud native of Southern California and gained her undergraduate degree from USC before earning her master’s in Education from the University of Pennsylvania. At home in New Orleans, she works with educators, advocacy groups, and organizers to craft programming that addresses community needs. She’s got a 5-year-old pup named Luna, loves hiking and being outside, and is always down to escape adulting through a good book.
