Join LDC's Fall Blended Foundations Cohort
Blended Foundations, an eight-week virtual course, is step one on your journey to LDC Coach Certification, and there are spots available for our Fall 2017 Coach Cohort, which runs from September 7–October 26, 2017, with a brief orientation on August 31, 2017.
Certified LDC Coaches are endorsed educators who support, guide, and provide feedback that results in measurable impact on teacher skill growth. LDC's professional development infrastructure articulates a clear value-chain from the teaching and learning in the classroom to the quality of district-wide initiatives.
Learn more about Blended Foundations and read what past participants have to say about the experience here.
Pennsylvania is Growing
LDC Coaches in Pennsylvania Intermediate Units across the state have been growing in leaps and bounds this year! In addition to their growing collection in LDC CoreTools, they have also been awarded a cumulative total of 88 badges. The goals of this work are to:
- Certify PAIU LDC coaches to support LDC professional learning, quality instructional planning, and effective classroom implementation.
- Provide tools and supports for educators across PA to design and implement quality, standards-aligned literacy instruction for students.
- Improve literacy learning outcomes and dramatically increase reading achievement among students in PA.
LDC applauds these educators for their continued efforts and hard work!
