The Literacy Design Collaborative (LDC) was awarded a prestigious Investing in Innovation (i3) federal grant in order to work with a cohort of Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD) and New York City Department of Education (NYC DOE schools). The program includes two years of professional development and coaching support at no cost to the participating schools. Recently LDC’s i3 Project hosted two open houses in Los Angeles and New York on March 28 and April 4, 2017, respectively, and LDC’s i3 Grant Project Directors have recapped their experiences.
